Micah Washington

My name is Micah Washington and I have been professionally editing videos since 2013. I was introduced to the world of editing in my freshman year of high school. At the time, I was heavily into videos games and there was a contest to win an Xbox 360 by creating a video montage of games showcased at E3 2005.
Spoiler alert, didn’t win the prize, but I did discover my passion which, I’m now lucky enough to call my career.

Being able to create thought-provoking and successful videos for numerous brands and organizations has driven me to constantly push my creativity to new heights by just not focusing on placing clips on a timeline, but also by utilizing sound design, graphics and more to enhance an overall piece. With social media being at the forefront of business and individuals advertising products, services and much more I have learned to be constantly knowledgable on trends, formats, and audiences that these social sites attract. Editing has always been the most satisfying aspect of my career but in order to grow more in my career I felt I needed to try and experience all facets of my field. Videography has been an aspect I have been learning and developing since 2019, and I thoroughly enjoy learning new techniques and the mindset of developing a shot with lighting angles, depth and performance. I think it's important to just try new things in life and always seek to expand your knowledge, skillset and love what you do and for me I wouldn't change it for the world.
